Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a copy provided.
A current Pennsylvania LPN license is required.
Current CPR certification is required; QPRC will provide it.
The position requires accuracy, dependability, initiative, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Administer personal hygiene, nursing care, treatment, and therapeutic measures according to physicians' instructions, accepted nursing standards, and QPRC policies.
Precisely document medications, treatments, and residents' conditions, and complete required written documentation accurately and on time.
Properly use and maintain medical supplies and equipment.
Order supplies for residents and the nursing station as needed.
Continually assess residents' health status, report changes to the Memory Support Coordinator, and carefully document changes.
Handle emergency resident situations effectively.
Update each resident's Plan of Care as conditions change, and demonstrate competency in assessing, planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating resident care.
Assist residents in reaching their self-care potential, treat and communicate with residents with dementia, and modify personal behavior in response to resident behavior.
Use effective verbal and written communication with staff, residents, and visitors.
Give accurate, concise, and complete shift reports.

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community currently has some exciting openings for Licensed Practical Nurses(LPN) on our Personal Care Living Team. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, able to work independently and cohesively with a team, and demonstrate compassionate care.
Compensation: $21.53-$26.88/hour, excluding shift differentials and dependent upon experience
Current Opportunities Memory Support Unit - Opportunities include every other weekend.
Part-Time Day Shift 8:00am-12:00pm - 6 days per bi-weekly pay period
Part-Time Evening Shift 4:00pm-8:00pm - 8 days per bi-weekly pay period
Part-Time Night Shift 4:00pm-8:00pm - 6 days per bi-weekly pay period
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
An LPN Med Nurse will administer personal hygiene, nursing care, treatment and therapeutic measures according to physician's instructions, accepted nursing standards, and QPRC policies.
Precisely documents medications, treatments, conditions of residents; completes all required written documentation accurately and timely.
An LPN Med Nurse properly uses and maintains all medical supplies/ equipment.
