Summary:

Responsible for supporting Value Analysis Program (VAP) functions to include, but not limited to, research, analytics and compliance for supplies, services and equipment. Plans, executes and manages VAP projects under the direction of the Value Analysis Director.

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Value Analysis Director, performs research on products and services with focus on evidence-based information to ensure quality and clinical efficacy to improve and guide patient care processes.Performs other duties as assigned.Assists Value Analysis Director in performing daily office operations.Reviews documents, forms and analytics in preparation for the scheduled VAP meetings or other committees. Manages and maintains VAP calendar.Collaborates with the Sourcing, Purchasing and Central Supply Teams on roll-out of initiatives and other pertinent activities.Coordinates educational activities related to implementation of new products and services. Collaborates with the Education Department to develop and design an effective educational strategy.Prepares accurate and timely reports and presentations related to initiatives brought into the VAP process.Works collaboratively with Sourcing Team on evaluating and monitoring initiatives.Participates in product evaluations throughout the system; ensures all product evaluations are performed in an objective manner.Provides clinical benchmarks, develops timelines, documents results based on decisions made in the VAP, and communicates them appropriately.
