Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- At least 15 years of experience in environmental consulting, architecture/engineering/construction, or a relevant industry.
- At least 10 years of operational leadership, project management, and staff management experience in environmental, health, and safety or Industrial Hygiene services.
- Strong background in managing project profit and loss, operational logistics, utilization metrics, and multidisciplinary field teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and standard operations management software.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and lead execution of operational strategy with the Senior Vice President of Environmental Services to ensure high-quality delivery across environmental, health, and safety and Industrial Hygiene project portfolios.
- Manage day-to-day Industrial Hygiene practice operations, including resource planning, staff utilization, project schedules, and budget compliance.
- Oversee project management teams to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule, within scope, and aligned with client quality standards.
- Serve as an operational point of contact for active clients, ensure satisfaction with services, and proactively resolve service or performance issues.
- Champion operational efficiency, health and safety standards, and technical rigor across active field sites and project locations.
- Direct project resource assignments and monitor team workflows to maintain high-quality technical output.
- Provide senior technical leadership and execution on complex Industrial Hygiene, exposure assessment, and environmental health projects.
- Promote collaboration and team building, demonstrate commitment to technical innovation, and motivate team members to foster an engaging work culture.
- Monitor and promote environmental health and worker safety across operational practices.
- Mentor and develop junior and intermediate technical staff and project managers.
- Conduct senior technical reviews of reports, sampling plans, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance deliverables.
- Perform other related operational duties as required.
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Industrial Hygienist and/or Certified Safety Professional credential.
- A master's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, or Occupational Health & Safety.
- Deep understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, indoor air quality standards, hazardous materials management, industrial exposure limits, and current industry trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with operational teams, field personnel, leadership, and regulatory agencies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to oversee complex operational workflows and competing project deadlines.
