Junior Accountant

Visier is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing Finance team.  Working closely with the team, the role will be responsible for day-to-day Accounts payable processes to ensure effective, efficient and accurate processing of transactions for Visier.

What you’ll be doing...

• Accounts payable; maintaining the invoice processing system, entering and coding vendor invoices, and managing the employee expense system
• Preparing weekly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Managing the corporate credit card platform
• Reviewing and processing employee expense reports
• Assisting with monthly financial reporting, including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, working papers and account financial analysis
• Preparing event expense summary for management teams reviews
• Assisting with system implementations and procedure development
• Ad-hoc projects as required

What you’ll bring to the table...

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline strongly preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Knowledge about Nexonia, Float, Coupa and NetSuite system is an asset
• Well organized, strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The base pay range for this position in Vancouver is 48k-58k / year.

The compensation offered will be determined by factors such as relevant qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. Many of our positions are eligible for additional types of compensation (e.g., commission plans, bonus, etc.) which our Talent Acquisition team will share with you if you interview for the role.
