About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI and product design, including at least 2 years designing for mobile iOS or Android products at a consumer product company.
  • Demonstrated understanding of color as a functional system communicating status, identity, causality, and trust.
  • Proficiency in Figma or an equivalent tool, including component libraries, auto-layout, design tokens, prototyping, and developer handoff.
  • Proficiency in motion and animation tools such as Lottie, After Effects, or Framer, with the ability to specify animations for engineering implementation.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted development tools such as Lovable or Cursor, and willingness to adopt new tools quickly.
Responsibilities
  • Own the overall aesthetic standard of the product, including typography application, spatial rhythm, depth hierarchy, color restraint, icon quality, and component polish.
  • Ensure the product presents as a premium consumer tool while maintaining trust in the system.
  • Apply visual judgment to commercial surfaces such as the marketplace, subscription tiers, and upsell moments.
  • Build and maintain the authoritative Figma or equivalent design system, including token and component libraries and identity-cell documentation.
  • Design the identity recoloring experience in onboarding as a real-time ambient palette transition.
  • Ensure primary dashboard identity symbols function as both the user's visual identity expression and the entry point to the AI coaching layer.
  • Design the shareable identity card in quiet and expressive aesthetic modes.
  • Design scoring loops, streak mechanics, and progression-tier displays to feel motivating and identity-consistent.
  • Design and specify animated product moments, including readiness-score animation, cinematic welcome experiences, ambient recoloring, achievement states, AI coaching reveals, and score or pillar-change reveals.
  • Define motion standards for screen transitions, micro-interactions, press states, loading states, skeleton screens, empty states, and error states.
  • Produce implementation-ready motion specifications for multiple devices, including Bodymovin or Lottie files, timing curves, duration values, and engineering handoff notes.
  • Design action-oriented experiences that clearly tell users what to do next.
  • Translate biomarker, wearable, and AI-generated data into readable and emotionally resonant interfaces.
  • Design the dashboard priority engine as the product's daily engagement surface.
  • Design an AI coaching modal as a distinct experience layer and maintain high-fidelity designs across iOS, Android, and Web.
  • Ensure a unified visual and interaction experience across iOS, Android, and Web while respecting platform-specific behaviors.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing for health, fitness, performance, or biomarker applications.
  • Experience designing consumer commerce surfaces in trust-sensitive contexts, including in-app purchases, subscription-tier presentations, or health and telehealth marketplaces.
  • Familiarity with React Native and Expo design constraints, including safe areas, platform-specific scroll physics, gesture models, and native component behavior.
  • Light front-end knowledge of TypeScript, React Native, and CSS sufficient to assess implementation fidelity and communicate divergence from design intent.
  • Experience designing gamification and progression systems, including achievement states, streak mechanics, leaderboard displays, and tier progression.
  • Familiarity with identity-adaptive or multi-theme design systems, including real-time palette shifts, persona-keyed visual treatments, and multi-tier token management.
  • Experience designing cinematic or motion-heavy product moments and art-directing sound, motion, and timing together.
  • Applicable certifications.
