Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, including at least 3 years in a delivery leadership or management capacity.
  • Strong technical experience with Ping Identity technologies, including PingFederate, PingOne, and PingAccess.
  • Strong technical experience with Okta Identity Engine, Universal Directory, Okta Workflows, API Access Management, and the Okta Integration Network.
  • Deep understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO architecture, federation design patterns, MFA, adaptive authentication, passwordless strategies, API security, token management, and gateway integration.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements and delivery teams.
  • Ability to manage escalations, resolve client concerns, and maintain executive-level relationships.
  • Experience with resource planning, utilization management, and staffing optimization.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee delivery timelines, milestones, and deliverables across the Access Management engagement portfolio.
  • Partner with Project Managers on project governance, status reporting, and risk management.
  • Conduct delivery reviews with engagement leads to assess progress, remove blockers, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Drive accountability for statement-of-work adherence, scope management, and change-order processes.
  • Coordinate parallel workstreams within large, multi-track engagements.
  • Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition planning for engagements.
  • Establish and maintain delivery playbooks, templates, and standard operating procedures for Access Management engagements.
  • Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, and executive steering committee updates.
  • Track engagement health metrics, including budget burn, milestone completion, and risk indicators.
  • Implement corrective actions and recovery plans for engagements that deviate from plan.
  • Provide technical oversight across concurrent Access Management engagements.
  • Serve as the senior technical resource for complex Access Management challenges.
  • Review and approve solution architectures, integration designs, and implementation approaches.
  • Ensure engagements adhere to security best practices, vendor-recommended configurations, and delivery standards.
  • Conduct technical health checks on active engagements.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, and SailPoint.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Architects, Senior Engineers, and Engineers.
  • Own resource allocation and staffing decisions for Access Management engagements.
  • Forecast staffing needs based on pipeline visibility, active engagements, and anticipated project timelines.
  • Coordinate with practice leadership and recruiting to identify hiring needs and participate in candidate evaluation.
  • Manage consultant utilization and balance billable targets with professional development, training, and bench time.
  • Identify team skill gaps and develop training plans or mentorship pairings.
  • Coordinate cross-practice resource sharing when engagements require blended skill sets.
  • Maintain a skills matrix and readiness assessment for Access Management consultants.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for delivery issues, client concerns, and technical blockers.
  • Manage escalation communications with clients and provide resolution plans and timelines.
  • Engage directly with client stakeholders to address concerns and maintain delivery confidence.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on escalated issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support presales efforts by validating proposed solutions and staffing models.
  • Review and approve Level of Effort estimates and statement-of-work technical content.
  • Participate in client-facing presentations and technical discussions during the sales cycle.
  • Contribute to practice development, including service offering definition, go-to-market strategy, and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, CyberArk, SailPoint, and ForgeRock.
  • Professional certifications such as Ping Identity Certified Professional, Okta Certified Professional, Okta Certified Administrator, Okta Certified Consultant, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services delivery environments.
  • Background in incident response or security recovery engagements involving IAM platforms.
  • Experience building and scaling IAM consulting practices or delivery teams.

Geordie AI has partnered with GuidePoint Security to offer AI agent security and governance capabilities to GuidePoint's customers. The collaboration gives security teams access to Geordie's platform, which helps organisations discover AI agents across their environments, monitor their behaviour, and enforce governance policies. Through the partnership, GuidePoint customers can use Beam, Geordie's remediation engine that works within an agent's operational infrastructure to enforce security policies in real time. GuidePoint Security has appointed Scott Rachford as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Rachford succeeds founder Michael Volk, who will transition to Executive Chairman whilst remaining actively involved in the company's growth.
