Every new Buc-ee's opening in 2027, from Florida to Kansas. See list. USA TODAY NETWORK - Florida Oct. 21, 2026, 1:50 p.m. ET * The popular convenience store Buc-ee's plans to open 11 new locations across seven states in 2027. * Four states, including Wisconsin and North Carolina, will be getting their first Buc-ee's locations next year. * Florida, which currently has two Buc-ee's, is expected to add two more locations in 2027. Buc-ee's, the Texas-based convenience store and gas stop with a cult following, is expanding its reach over the next few years. Next year, 11 new Buc-ee's are expected to open in seven states, if everything goes according to plan. As part of that expansion, Floridians will see two more Buc-ee's pop up in the Sunshine State. Buc-ee's has become wildly popular for its convenience and the quality of its tasty treats, including Beaver Nuggets, brisket, fudge, and a literal wall of jerky. There are only two Buc-ee's locations in the Sunshine State as of October 2026, but that total will shoot up to six once all four planned locations are completed. And two of the four new locations will be opening next year. Both Arizona and Arkansas saw their first Buc-ee's locations open this year, and in 2027, four more states will get their first taste of Buc-ee's. Here's when and where Florida will welcome its next Buc-ee's locations, where the current Florida locations are and a list of the new Buc-ee's locations set to open across the U.S. in 2027. Every new Buc-ee's location expected to open in 2027. There are 11 new Buc-ee's locations expected to open in seven states in 2027. For four of those states, it will be their first Buc-ee's location, according to the Buc-ee's website. "2027 is going to be a landmark year for Buc-ee's expansion. Multiple new states, multiple huge locations, and some genuinely significant geographic milestones," the Buc-ee's website says. Note that many of these locations are targeted for 2027, but not guaranteed to open next year, as delays can occur. Here's the list of Buc-ee's locations set to open in 2027: * Wisconsin's first Buc-ee's: Wisconsin's first Buc-ee's location is on track to open in Oak Creek, just south of Milwaukee on I-94, in April 2027. This location is strategic because it will be the chain's closest location to Chicago. * "For Chicago-area residents, this is genuinely life-changing in the Buc-ee's sense - the nearest Buc-ee's before this is hundreds of miles away in Missouri or Ohio. When Oak Creek opens, Chicago will finally have a reasonable Buc-ee's option about 90 minutes away," the Buc-ee's website says. * Louisiana's first Buc-ee's (2 locations): * Ruston, LA: In Northern Louisiana, a new Buc-ee's in Ruston is on track for a mid-2027 opening. It will be the state's first Buc-ee's location, at the intersection of I-20 and Tarbutton Road. This new location will serve I-20 travelers between Dallas and Atlanta in northern Louisiana. * Lafayette, LA: The second Buc-ee's location in Louisiana is expected in Lafayette, targeting an opening sometime in 2027. * North Carolina's first Buc-ee's: The first Buc-ee's in North Carolina is on track to open in the fourth quarter of 2027, according to the Buc-ee's website. * "Drivers along Interstate 40 can now spot billboards announcing the arrival of North Carolina's first Buc-ee's," the Buc-ee's website says. "If you're in North Carolina and you've been watching those I-40 billboards - the wait is almost over. Q4 2027 means October through December. We're calling November as the most likely specific month." * Kansas's first Buc-ee's: Kansas's first Buc-ee's will be located in Kansas City, near the Kansas Speedway at I-70 and West Village Parkway. It is currently expected to open in October 2027. * Georgia (2 locations): * Monroe County: This will be Georgia's fourth Buc-ee's location and is currently under construction, expected to open along I-75 in early 2027. * Forsyth: Another I-75 location, Georgia's fifth Buc-ee's location in Forsyth is expected to open in 2027 if construction moves forward as planned without delays, according to the Buc-ee's website. * Tennessee (2 locations): * Fayette County: Near Memphis, Tennessee's third Buc-ee's location is expected to open in Fayette County in May 2027, delayed from the original summer 2026 target. * Gallaway: Originally targeted for an earlier opening, Tennessee's fourth Buc-ee's location is now expected to open in August 2027 west of Memphis. * Florida (2 locations): * Tallahassee: Located near Tallahassee, this will be the chain's first Panhandle location, giving drivers on I-10 a Buc-ee's stop between the Alabama state line and Jacksonville. Buc-ee's website shows the targeted opening date as 2027. * Fort Pierce: On Florida's East Coast, Buc-ee's has proposed a new location near the I-95 and Indrio Road interchange in St. Lucie County, serving the Fort Pierce area southwest of Vero Beach. Buc-ee's website shows the targeted opening date as 2027. How many Buc-ee's locations are there in Florida? Right now, Buc-ee's operates two travel centers in Florida, both along Interstate 95. The first one opened in 2021 in St. Augustine, along the Northeast Florida stretch of I-95, and it was quickly followed by a Buc-ee's in Daytona Beach, serving drivers headed to and from Central Florida's beaches and Speedway area. Each location combines a large convenience store-slash-deli-slash-bakery with a ridiculous number of gas pumps (more than 100 at each location), big parking lots, and a wide selection of food and merchandise. The Daytona Beach Buc-ee's also features a 235-foot-long car wash. Here are the Florida Buc-ee's addresses: * Daytona Beach: 2330 Gateway North Drive * St. Augustine: 200 World Commerce Pkwy Where, when are the next Florida Buc-ee's locations opening? 2 more coming in 2027. There are four new Buc-ee's in progress and in the planning stages across Florida. Two will open next year in the Tallahassee and Fort Pierce areas. * Tallahassee / Leon County, near I-10: Buc-ee's bought more than 30 acres near Capital Circle Northwest and Interstate 10 last November after submitting plans for 75,000 square feet, with 120 gas pumps and 24 EV charging stations. This would be the chain's first Panhandle location, giving drivers on I-10 a Buc-ee's stop between the Alabama state line and Jacksonville. Buc-ee's website shows the targeted opening date as 2027. * Fort Pierce / St. Lucie County, I-95 and Indrio Road: On Florida's East Coast, Buc-ee's has proposed a new location near the I-95 and Indrio Road interchange in St. Lucie County, serving the Fort Pierce area southwest of Vero Beach. Plans call for a massive travel center with a store of 76,245 square feet, 120 gas pumps, 18 EV charging stations, and 778 parking spaces. Buc-ee's website shows the targeted opening date as 2027. * Ocala / Marion County, near I-75: A Buc-ee's will be located on a new Interstate 75 interchange at the southeast corner of I-75 and Northwest 49th Street, which is being constructed as part of a massive I-75 improvements project. The opening date was delayed. The Buc-ee's website shows the estimated opening as 2028-2029. * Port Charlotte / Charlotte County, I-75: There are plans for a Buc-ee's in a trio of villages near a new Harborview development in Southwest Florida. Depending on the zoning, it's planned to be around 74.000 square feet, according to Stan Beard, Buc-ee's national director of real estate and development. The Buc-ee's website has no estimated opening date for this location, but has set its status as "planned." Which state has the most Buc-ee's locations? According to ScrapeHero, the Texas-based chain has 58 locations in 14 states. Buc-ee's home state of Texas has the most, with 37 locations. The company has been moving beyond its Texas roots for several years, adding or announcing locations in states including Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Florida is a key state in Buc-ee's national buildout. With a fast-growing population, and tens of millions of tourists every year flocking to popular destinations in every direction, Buc-ee's can serve both with well-placed locations near high-traffic interstates such as I-75, I-95, and I-10. Florida local and state governments have also worked to welcome Buc-ee's, with Gov. Ron DeSantis even throwing bags of Beaver Nuggets to the crowd when the Ocala location was announced. Buc-ee's begins permitting process for new travel center in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Buc-ee's begins permitting process for new travel center in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Proposed project would bring more than $60 million in private investment, 200 permanent jobs and over $30 million in estimated annual taxable sales ROCKY MOUNT, N.C., October 20, 2026 (Newswire.com) - Buc-ee's, home of the world's cleanest bathrooms, freshest food, and friendliest beaver, has initiated the planning process for a travel center in Rocky Mount, Nash County, North Carolina. The travel center would bring more than $60 million in private capital investment and is estimated to generate more than $30 million in annual taxable sales once operational. The project would expand the local tax base and create new employment opportunities, while adding a new source of commercial activity along the I-95 corridor. In a letter dated October 12 inviting adjacent property owners to a neighborhood meeting, Buc-ee's announced its intention to purchase approximately 34 acres at the southeast corner of I-95 and Highway 4. The meeting is a required element of the limited rezoning submittal to the City of Rocky Mount. The proposed Buc-ee's would occupy 74,000 square feet and offer 120 fueling positions. In addition to pursuing rezoning approvals, Buc-ee's is working closely with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) and Nash County's legislative delegation to expand and improve an existing highway project needed to bring the travel center to Rocky Mount. The project would help spur economic revitalization in rural North Carolina by creating jobs, attracting new investment, and supporting the region's long-term growth. "We still have planning approvals to complete, but we are excited about the opportunity to invest in Rocky Mount," said Stan Beard, Buc-ee's Director of Real Estate and Development. "We thank Rep. Allen Chesser and Sen. Lisa Barnes for their leadership and NCDOT for its continued partnership. This project would not be possible without their help and reflects the strong working relationship we have built with the General Assembly, NCDOT, and the town of Rocky Mount." "As a Nash County resident all my life, I know how wonderful our county is and the impact our residents have on this state," said Senator Lisa Barnes. "Companies like Buc-ee's investing in our people is another example of our hard work to make North Carolina, Nash County, and Rocky Mount a great place to live and great place to visit." Representative Allen Chesser said, "Improving the quality of life for Nash County residents is one of my top priorities and a driving reason behind my service in the General Assembly. Bringing new businesses like Buc-ee's to our community is an important part of that commitment. Our pro-business policies have continually attracted strong businesses and brands with tremendous employment opportunities to North Carolina." Buc-ee's Rocky Mount is expected to create 200 permanent, full-time jobs, with starting wages of $18-$21 per hour plus full benefits, a 6% matching 401(k), and three weeks of paid vacation. Buc-ee's eyes Rocky Mount for second NC location.

Buc-ee's eyes Rocky Mount for second NC location. Thursday, October 15, 2026 7:23PM Buc-ee's is considering a second North Carolina location, with plans to develop nearly 34 acres near I-95 in Rocky Mount. ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WTVD) - North Carolina could be getting its second Buc-ee's, this time in Rocky Mount. The city confirmed Thursday that the Texas-based convenience store chain is looking to develop nearly 34 acres near the I-95 and Halifax Road interchange. Buc-ee's has requested that the property be rezoned, and the city is reviewing the request. The chain's first North Carolina location is currently under construction along I-40/I-85 in Mebane and is expected to open in November 2027. Buc-ee's travel centers are known for their large number of gas pumps, brisket sandwiches and large, clean restrooms.

Learn how to bake with coconut flour & make coconut skincare products. Florida Buc-ee's fixin' to fixin' to start construction. Florida's planned Buc-ee's near Fort Pierce has reached an important new milestone: St. Lucie County officials say the project has cleared its local hurdles. That is meaningful new progress since its last update on Florida's next Buc-ee's locations, but it does not mean construction can begin yet. The travel center is planned near Interstate 95 and Indrio Road, northwest of Fort Pierce in St. Lucie County. Local planning officials said in early October that the county-level process is essentially complete, shifting attention to remaining approvals from state agencies. My latest videos. State approvals are now the big hurdle. The most important distinction is that "local hurdles cleared" is not the same thing as final approval to build. According to NewsRadio WFLA's October 1 report, Buc-ee's is still awaiting final approval from the Florida Department of Transportation and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection before construction can begin. That makes this a concrete step forward, but not a groundbreaking announcement. No firm construction-start date has been announced. The project has been working through approvals for years. Buc-ee's bought roughly 46 acres near the interchange in 2024, and county commissioners later approved zoning changes connected with the development. Plans have continued through site-plan and permitting reviews since then. The proposed store would be one of Buc-ee's biggest. Planning documents have described a store of roughly 76,000 square feet, with 120 fueling positions, 18 electric-vehicle charging spaces and more than 700 parking spaces. Those numbers help explain why the approval process involves more than a routine convenience-store permit. One detail worth treating carefully is the store's size ranking. Earlier reports suggested the Florida location could become the world's largest Buc-ee's, but the company later pushed back on that claim, explaining that planning departments can measure building size differently. Buc-ee's says its Luling, Texas, location remains its largest. The opening timeline has moved as the approval process has stretched out. Current local reporting points to 2028 as the target, but Buc-ee's has not announced a specific opening date or groundbreaking date for the Fort Pierce-area store. When it does open, the location would push Buc-ee's farther down Florida's Atlantic coast, giving I-95 travelers a store well south of the chain's existing Daytona Beach and St. Augustine locations. The location is also notable because it would serve the Treasure Coast rather than simply filling in another stop near one of Buc-ee's existing Florida stores. Its position at I-95 and Indrio Road would put the chain within easier reach of drivers traveling between Central Florida and the heavily populated communities farther south. For now, the newest development is narrower but still significant: St. Lucie County's local hurdles are largely behind the project. The next milestone to watch is state sign-off - the step Buc-ee's still needs before construction can finally get underway. Construction on new Kansas City Buc-ee's progressing quickly, opening date moved.

Construction on new Kansas City Buc-ee's progressing quickly, opening date moved. KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A popular mega-convenience store is opening one of its newest locations earlier than expected. The Buc-ee's coming to Kansas City, Kansas, was originally slated to open next October. Construction is coming along fast and it is now set to open in the spring. The store will have 120 gas pumps, a large car wash area and 12 electric vehicle charging stations. The good news comes after Urbandale, Iowa, rejected plans for it to be home to the first Buc-ee's in the Hawkeye State. Several Iowa cities have thrown their hat in the ring to claim that title. Those include West Des Moines, Norwalk, Colfax and Bondurant. Even Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds is helping find a community willing to welcome the new travel center, famous for its giant size, exceptionally clean restrooms and around a hundred gas pumps. Lastly, contrary to someone's wishful thinking, a Buc-ee's will not be coming to Baring, Missouri. For the next few months, the closest location to the Tri-States is in Springfield, Missouri.
