Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in IT (computer science, software engineering, or computer engineering) or equivalent; the absence of a degree may be compensated by six additional years of experience.
  • At least eight years of IT experience, including at least two years as a functional analyst on Java or .NET systems within the last ten years.
  • At least three years of experience developing object-oriented web systems using Java or a similar technology.
  • Participation in one project of at least 1,000 person-days, with at least 220 person-days contributed by the candidate, within the last three years.
  • Ability to write clear, precise, and maintainable documentation.
  • Experience designing prototypes and developing test scenarios.
  • Ability to collaborate with business users and development teams.
  • Written and verbal communication skills in French.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Support users in clarifying and understanding their operational needs.
  • Perform functional analysis of features to be developed or modified.
  • Develop, write, and revise functional analysis documents of varying complexity in accordance with functional architecture specifications.
  • Design and create system prototypes that meet user needs.
  • Present functional documentation to developers and support them throughout implementation.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of programmers assigned to functional analysis files.
  • Participate in developing the testing strategy.
  • Develop test scenarios and perform functional and automated testing.
  • Support teams during integrated testing and users during acceptance testing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the public sector.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance practices and automated testing.
  • Experience in business intelligence.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Experience on a government contract lasting at least six months.
