Figure.ai develops humanoid robots designed for various industries, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and reducing labor costs. Their main product, Figure 01, is a 5'6" tall, 60kg robot that can carry up to 20kg, run for 5 hours, and move at a speed of 1.2 meters per second. It operates in human-designed environments like manufacturing plants and warehouses. Unlike traditional robots that perform single tasks, Figure 01 is versatile and can handle multiple functions, making it a cost-effective solution for industrial clients. The company aims to expand its market reach through partnerships, such as with BMW Manufacturing, and generates revenue through sales, leasing, and service contracts.
