Requirements
  • Actively pursue a degree in Civil Engineering or another related degree.
  • Complete one applicable certification within the 90-day introductory period and all basic certifications within 270 days of employment.
  • Have a valid driver's license if driving for or on behalf of an ECS subsidiary.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be dependable, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be able to follow directions and work under supervision.
  • Have basic problem-solving and observational skills.
  • Be willing to work in outdoor field environments and laboratory settings.
  • Meet the qualifying U.S. military rank of E-4, if applying based on military qualifications.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with construction materials testing and observation activities in the field and laboratory.
  • Observe testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
  • Support documentation of site conditions and testing results.
  • Assist with organization and preparation of field and laboratory equipment.
  • Perform basic data entry and documentation tasks.
  • Work with technicians and project teams to support project execution.
  • Participate in field and laboratory workflows to gain practical experience.
  • Assist with maintaining clean and organized work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
