🧭 The Mission

We’re looking for our first Product Analyst to join the Rooser crew. You’ll be a strategic partner to our Product team, using data to guide impactful decisions and shape our product strategy. You’ll deliver insights, lead experimentation, and collaborate across teams.

Your work will directly influence how we build better products, serve our customers, and achieve our goals.

🚢 What will you be doing?

• Develop Metrics Framework: Create and manage scalable frameworks for tracking key product metrics and KPIs throughout the product development lifecycle. Ensure alignment with business objectives, enhance reporting accuracy, and reduce time to insight for decision-making.

• Experimentation and Product Insights: Contribute during pre-analysis to assess impact and establish success metrics. Design, complete, and analyse experiments, sharing results that inform the product roadmap. Conduct post-launch analysis to evaluate feature performance and provide actionable insights for future iterations.

• Enable Self-Service Analytics: Build tools, dashboards, and training materials that help cross-functional teams to access and interpret product data independently. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by reducing time to insight and improving data accessibility.

While experience with our tech stack is a bonus (SQL is essential), it’s not a must. What matters most is your adaptability and willingness to learn. If you’re excited by new challenges and quick to learn new technologies, you’ll thrive here!

• dbt - For data transformation, testing and documentation.

• Looker - For building and sharing data visualisations and dashboards.

• Redshift - For storing and querying our data.

• Mixpanel, PostHog - For tracking user behavior and analysing product usage.

• Fivetran - For automated data extraction and loading from various sources.

🎣 This role will be great for you if…

• You’re a senior-level Product Analyst excited to create and lead the product analytics function from the ground up. Your technical skills are like the ocean - vast and deep and you can complement these skills with the ability to think strategically to drive results. 

• Solving complex problems in a fast-moving but largely untouched industry motivates you, especially one as dynamic as seafood.

• Collaborating across a business is vital to how you like to work. You have a high level of curiosity about how different teams operate and enjoy collectively working like skippers to achieve shared goals.

🦐 This role won’t be great for you if...

• You want to be a people manager from day one or in a purely strategic role. We need someone to be hands-on and in the detail.  

• The thought of being the only Product Analyst (for now) with limited precedent for experimentation and product metrics doesn’t excite you. This role is suited to someone who can build and develop rather than optimise what is already in place. 

• You prefer a remote environment. We value in-person collaboration and come to our office in Camden three days a week (Tues-Thurs).
