Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 2 years of customer service or sales experience is required, preferably in a retail environment.
  • The associate must have strong interpersonal, written communication, verbal communication, attention-to-detail, time-management, and organizational abilities.
  • The associate must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • The associate must be able to perform external or internal events when required.
  • The associate must maintain a professional appearance as defined in the EWC Growth Associate Handbook.
  • The associate must be able to talk and hear, sit and stand at a desk, work on a computer, and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
  • The associate must be able to lift or move items weighing more than 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Create an exceptional guest experience while achieving sales goals and assisting management with daily administrative tasks.
  • Initiate genuine conversations and connections while educating guests on product and service recommendations.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of European Wax Center services and products.
  • Upsell and cross-sell retail products and waxing services.
  • Educate guests about the benefits and savings of Wax Passes.
  • Arrive on time and follow the appropriate dress code, including wearing the required name tag.
  • Create a memorable guest experience by using EWC terminology and tailoring scripts and standard responses while working at the location.
  • Confirm each guest service and offer recommended or related add-on services.
  • Administer guest check-ins and check-outs, process payments and refunds, and handle reservation requests.
  • Inform guests about pre-booking benefits and explain how to use the app to reschedule.
  • Organize the reservation book according to guest requests and associate availability.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for the center.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and visually pleasant environment in the lobby and restrooms.
