Requirements
  • Valid Emergency Medical Technician-Advanced certification or higher from an accredited program.
  • Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation instructor certification and experience in cardiopulmonary resuscitation instruction.
  • Strong knowledge of emergency medical procedures, protocols, and equipment.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work on a PRN basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced emergency medical care and transportation to patients in pre-hospital settings.
  • Respond to emergency calls and assess patient conditions to determine appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medications and advanced airway management according to protocols.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and transport details.
  • Conduct cardiopulmonary resuscitation training sessions and serve as a cardiopulmonary resuscitation instructor for staff and community members.
  • Deliver emergency medical services training and educational programs to enhance team skills and community awareness.
  • Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and ready for use.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations governing emergency medical services.
