Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in solution design, system architecture, or technical consulting, with a track record of solving complex, multi-system challenges.
  • Deep expertise in at least one core partner-ecosystem platform: Zendesk, Zoom CX, Workato, or Observe.ai, with strong working familiarity with the others.
  • Meaningful experience designing AI-powered systems, including agentic workflows, large language model integration, and AI governance.
  • Fluency with application programming interfaces, JSON, and integration architecture, with the ability to design solutions spanning multiple systems and explain them to engineers and executives.
  • Strong pre-sales instincts and the ability to shape the technical narrative in a sales conversation.
  • Experience designing AI-enabled improvements for business processes and customer experience environments, with hands-on experience.
  • The ability to document clearly and make complex systems approachable.
  • A genuine interest in evolving technology and staying current with it.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of complex, multi-system solutions from initial discovery through architectural documentation and implementation handoff.
  • Partner with the sales team on technically complex opportunities by participating in client conversations, solution scoping, and proposal development.
  • Set standards for the Solutions Engineering team's implementation, integration, and AI deployment approaches by building repeatable, scalable frameworks.
  • Provide architectural guidance to Solutions Engineers and Specialists on complex engagements.
  • Design AI and agentic workflow architectures for clients, defining agent interactions with existing systems, human oversight, and methods for evaluating and governing outputs.
  • Research and evaluate new platform capabilities, integration approaches, and AI tooling, translating new possibilities into practical client applications.
  • Create architectural documentation, decision frameworks, and design patterns to raise the team's technical capability.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on system design and implementation best practices for the team and clients.
