Job Summary

Comcast is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to be an integral member of the team supporting Vendor Management activities and maintaining a continuous improvement culture by ensuring projects and initiatives are successfully implemented and the efficiency of the changes is monitored and reported. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge. Hybrid position based on Philadelphia, PA (Mon-Tue-Wed-Thu in office)

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors to ensure adherence to contractual obligations to provide best in class services/products.
• Work closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination in Vendor Management activities.
• Prepare reports to analyze trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.  Continuously evaluate and improve vendor management processes, aiming for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop scorecards to measure Vendors operational compliance to identify best practices and opportunities of improvement.
• Implement tools and systems to streamline and automate vendor tracking and reporting.
• Identify and address performance issues, ensuring comprehensive root cause analysis are provided and effective corrective actions are implemented as needed. Ensure vendors comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Conduct regular Performance Reviews to ensure vendors meet expectations.
• Monitor spend and transactions volume trends to ensure rebates/discounts terms and conditions in agreements are met.
• Support the team with readiness activities for new products, programs, projects being implemented into the operations.
• Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks, including presentations to the supply chain leadership team.
• Effectively manage competing priorities through planned and ad-hoc requests.
• Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
