Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • A strong customer focus with the ability to prospect, create leads, grow the business, manage accounts, foster close account relationships, and generate new sales to achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
  • Proven exceptional presentation skills.
  • Strong initiative, communication, time management, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A post-secondary degree in Legal, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of legal and/or commercial real estate experience.
  • Strong business development experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain successful client relationships.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain appropriate licenses to be authorized to sell FCT products.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain new and existing relationships with target audiences to grow sales and identify new business opportunities, including relationships with lawyers and constituencies in the title-insurance industry.
  • Develop market and area awareness through regular SWOT reviews, scan for new business opportunities and concepts, and realign sales strategies to anticipate changing economic conditions.
  • Maintain product knowledge and answer customer questions through sales meetings, company training sessions, and review of internal communications about program changes and enhancements.
  • Monitor industry competitors and share relevant information with the sales team.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by providing support and guidance, sharing product and process information, investigating problems, and assisting with solution development.
  • Control expenses by reviewing the personal budget and monitoring spending.
  • Contribute to the Sales Team by sharing best practices, collaborating with team members, and working with internal partners to identify creative opportunities for new business.
