nuHarbor launches Splunk mXDR service for US state governments with multi-agency security tools

nuHarbor Security, a managed cybersecurity services provider based in Burlington, Vermont, has launched a new Managed Extended Detection and Response (mXDR) offering built on Splunk. The service targets state and local governments struggling with fragmented security tools across multiple agencies. The offering addresses a common challenge: state agencies often procure their own security tools independently, creating visibility gaps. nuHarbor's solution centralises detection and response across existing systems without requiring standardisation. The service includes 24/7 monitoring across multiple platforms, support for major EDR tools including CrowdStrike and SentinelOne, and automated response playbooks. It allows phased onboarding, enabling agencies to join gradually rather than requiring simultaneous adoption. The co-managed model keeps state security teams in control whilst providing mobile push-notification approvals for sensitive actions.
