Experience with electronics related to the Pro-AV market.
Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture.
A valid state-issued driver's license.
Ability to stand, sit, squat, and bend for periods of time.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call.
Ability to travel in and out of the market up to 70–80% of the time.
Responsibilities
Provide customers with technical support and services, including preventive maintenance, installation, site surveys, and demand and emergency services related to digital cinema equipment.
Perform maintenance on cinema projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, servers, and power supplies.
Provide demand service for customers by determining and executing a support plan.
Test electronic assemblies, components, or parts using equipment such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, color meters, resistance bridges, oscilloscopes, and automatic or computerized test equipment.
Examine equipment and assemblies for defects, replace defective components, repair equipment, perform field testing, and resolve firmware and software issues.
Direct investigations of customer complaints regarding product quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition.
Record and analyze information about production quality and report the status and disposition of customer complaints and claims to appropriate personnel in production quality and sales departments using written and electronic reporting.
Install and test electronic or digital equipment.
Record daily activities in Field Point, including work descriptions, expenses, hours, labor, and travel.
Take ownership and perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with digital cinema equipment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

About the role
The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing customers with technical support and services; including but not limited to preventive maintenance, installation, site surveys, demand and emergency services specifically related to digital cinema equipment.
What you'll do

Qualifications
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with electronics related to the Pro-Av market
Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture
Experience with digital cinema equipment is preferred
Strong attention to detail
Proficient with MS Office
Exceptional customer service skills required
This position requires a valid, state issued driver’s license
This position requires the ability to stand, sit, squat and bend for a period of time
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Comfortable working in a high-stress, face-paced environment with shifting priorities
Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
