Requirements
  • Degree/diploma in any discipline preferred
  • Must be extremely well-organized
  • Must be able to work independently, problem solve and come up with solutions

  • Superior communicator with excellent written and verbal skills in English

Responsibilities
  • Perform general administrative, reception and clerical duties
  • Possibly conduct research or undertake special internal and external projects
  • Ensure the office runs smoothly and office supplies are available, reorder or organize replenishment as required
  • Create or update marketing materials such as brochures or newsletters
  • Handle monthly invoicing and other accounting-related tasks

  • Familiarity with Human Resources, Financial and Payroll Applications
  • French and Spanish language skills

ASL acquires SimpleHR to expand HR software platform for SMBs

ASL Enterprises has acquired SimpleHR, a Canadian HR software provider, to expand its capabilities in the small and medium-sized business market. Financial terms were not disclosed. SimpleHR offers on-premises and cloud-based HR management solutions focused on employee records management, HR administration and policy tracking for SMBs. The acquisition strengthens ASL's product portfolio and supports its North American and global expansion strategy. ASL plans to invest in upgrading the SimpleHR platform whilst maintaining the brand. The company will focus on enhancing technology infrastructure and expanding product capabilities. Tony Brown, Director of Special Projects at SimpleHR, said the acquisition presents significant opportunity to accelerate product development and market reach through ASL's infrastructure and professional services expertise.
