Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Engineering.
  • Experience working with enterprises in telecommunications, media, retail, industrial, or business services.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to understand and articulate artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, application programming interface integrations, and software implementation patterns to developers, product managers, executives, and end users.
  • Experience driving success across consumption-based and seat-based business models, including understanding expansion levers and success metrics for each.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable expansion plans.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts, maintain strong relationships, and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and represent customer needs proactively.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • A field of study relevant to the role, demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Responsibilities
  • Build trusting, strategic relationships with key customer decision-makers to understand their business and objectives, and identify opportunities for optimization and expansion.
  • Become an expert in Anthropic's products across the application programming interface, Claude Code, and Claude for Enterprise, including their technical nuances and best practices, to guide customers toward appropriate solutions.
  • Use knowledge of customers and their industry verticals to drive usage planning and understand current and future consumption, adoption, and realized customer value.
  • Monitor usage patterns and identify optimization opportunities, addressing underutilization across consumption-based application programming interface products and seat-based Claude for Enterprise and Claude Code products.
  • Serve as the customer's thought partner by socializing Anthropic's product roadmap, increasing awareness of new products, and engaging product managers.
  • Document and quantify customer value through business outcomes, return on investment, and impact metrics to build internal business cases for continued and expanded investment.
  • Identify potential use cases and lines of business that are not onboarded, partnering with customers and Sales to discover new Claude applications across departments, teams, and workflows.
  • Develop and execute change-management strategies to drive end-user adoption and maximize value, including train-the-trainer programs, center-of-excellence development, and organizational enablement.
  • Own the customer experience throughout the lifecycle by managing account and success plans grounded in customer objectives, conducting quarterly business reviews, and serving as the primary conduit between the customer and Anthropic.
  • Develop scalable engagement strategies and playbooks for the industry portfolio, balancing high-touch strategic accounts with efficient coverage models.

Anthropic lets enterprises store AI data on own infrastructure amid cost pressures

Anthropic will allow enterprise customers to store required data on their own cloud infrastructure, Reuters reported, citing an unnamed source. The AI company maintains its 30-day data retention requirement but now permits businesses to keep that data on their systems rather than Anthropic's. The policy applies to Anthropic's Fable and Mythos models and future frontier models. Anthropic introduced the 30-day retention requirement in June to protect against cyberattacks using its technology. The move follows mounting pressure on enterprise AI spending, with some companies switching to cheaper alternatives like DeepSeek. AI startup Lindy recently migrated from Anthropic's Claude models to DeepSeek, expecting to save millions of dollars within months. Anthropic filed a confidential IPO prospectus in June. Its annualised revenue run rate reached $47 billion in May, according to CNBC.

Anthropic commits $35M and $100M in AI credits to defend open-source software

Anthropic has launched Project Glasswing, a cybersecurity initiative backed by $35 million to support open-source security projects.
