Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed, for 2–3 days twice per month.
  • Certification in ergonomics from an accredited organization.
  • Proven experience working as an Ergonomist or in a similar role, preferably in consulting or corporate settings.
  • At least 5 years of ergonomic work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of ergonomic principles, methodologies, and assessment tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in ergonomic software and tools for analysis and reporting, including Rapid Entire Body Assessment, Rapid Upper Limb Assessment, and National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health methods.
  • Certification in ergonomics, such as CPE, AEP, CEAS, or CIE.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments of workspaces, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and risk factors.
  • Analyze data and gather information to develop comprehensive ergonomic recommendations and solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and other stakeholders to integrate ergonomic principles into workplace design and layout.
  • Provide ergonomic training and education to employees and management on proper techniques, posture, and equipment usage.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of ergonomic interventions through follow-up assessments and make adjustments as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in ergonomics to continually enhance services and offerings.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to clients and internal teams in a clear and professional manner.
  • Contribute to the development of ergonomic tools, resources, and guidelines to support ongoing initiatives.
  • Manage and book personal travel arrangements and logistics related to assigned ergonomic projects; travel expenses are reimbursed in full upon project completion.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, OSHA 2255, OSHA 511, Associate Safety Professional, or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist are a plus but not required.
