Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional work experience within digital media – specifically within advertising and/or client services
  • 3+ years of people management – preferably with a team size greater than 10 employees
  • Prior experience supporting early career talent and/or building early career programming
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to various levels throughout an organization
  • Highly collaborative and flexible work style, with the ability to adapt quickly and support the businesses evolving needs
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the direct manager for all Account Coordinators (ACs), while they maintain a dotted line reporting to their respective business leads
  • Provide ongoing support, guidance, and performance feedback to ACs, ensuring alignment with business goals and individual career aspirations
  • Develop and implement formal programs to move ACs to Account Managers
  • Conduct strategic resource deployment planning to ensure optimal allocation of ACs across various projects and campaigns
  • Collaborate with business leads to understand and inform the revenue staffing model for all AC employees
  • Design and lead comprehensive development programs tailored to early career professionals, including onboarding, training, mentorship, and rotational programs
  • Implement innovative strategies to attract, retain, and nurture top talent from diverse backgrounds
  • Ensure programs align with the company’s strategic goals and industry best practices
  • Develop clear career paths and progression plans to help staff understand and achieve their career goals within the company
  • Implement initiatives to improve job satisfaction and reduce turnover
  • Collaborate with Client Services Leadership to develop and execute strategies for attracting early career talent, including internships, apprenticeships, and graduate recruitment initiatives
  • Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires integrate smoothly and are set up for success from day one and surveys to understand the needs and aspirations of early career staff
  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts within early career development programs
