Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, and support all finance and procurement activities in accordance with company policies, processes, systems, procedures, and the Integrated Management System.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial performance reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Coordinate and prepare the yearly budget and quarterly forecast and provide advice and assistance as required.
  • Issue all internal and external financial reports and statements.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and liaise with appointed financial and ICV auditors to ensure audits are initiated and completed within the agreed timeframe.
  • Manage and update the revolving periodic cash flow report.
  • Manage company payroll, remuneration matters, and related reporting.
  • Monitor receivables and implement and maintain effective collection strategies in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Monitor payables and implement and maintain efficient payment strategies to support cash flow management and supplier relations.
  • Ensure that finance and procurement activities, functions, and controls comply with best practices, sound financial principles, company policies and procedures, and legal and contractual requirements.
  • Work with other departments to maximize company performance, resource efficiency, and financial performance understanding.
  • Implement and execute finance and procurement activities based on Lean management principles and continuous improvement.
  • Provide on-the-job training and development for the finance team in accounting discipline and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that UAE laws related to finance, fiscal, and legal matters and International Accounting Standards are properly applied.
  • Assist with legal advisor liaison and relevant legal matters.
  • Assist departments with follow-up and monitoring of corporate matters and company contracts.
  • Set an action plan for the Finance Department aligned with company goals and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Undertake other reasonable work or related tasks requested by the General Manager.
  • Oversee and guide the purchasing team according to company purchasing policies, controls, ethics, and cost-efficiency requirements.
  • Assist with implementing purchasing and service agreements and negotiations.
  • Ensure optimal finance team performance and conduct annual performance appraisals.
  • Act as financial signatory in accordance with applicable powers of attorney and the authority matrix.
  • Manage banking activities, including liaison, cheque books, transfers, hedging, bank guarantees, and fixed investments.
  • Understand, implement, and follow QHSE policies and procedures.
  • Promote safe work practices and safe behavior.
  • Participate in risk assessments and reviews.
  • Promote QHSE practices and understanding.
  • Be responsible for the health and safety of personnel under the role's authority and others affected by company activities.
  • Ensure incident and near-miss reporting procedures are understood and followed, and assist with accident investigations where appropriate.
  • Provide accurate information to audit teams when necessary.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and authority within the department.
  • Coordinate with the HR/PR department when identifying training needs.
  • Comply with the QHSE policy of VESE.
  • Comply with Veolia Group values and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with other job functions and teams.
  • Train and develop subordinates.
  • Participate in overtime tasks as required.
  • Coordinate and assist with financial system updates, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Ensure reporting is completed promptly and accurately.

Veolia raises $1.3B in oversubscribed senior bond offering with $3.8B orders

Veolia has completed a €1.15 billion senior bond offering across two tranches. The issuance comprises €650 million with a four-year maturity at a 3.678% coupon and €500 million with an eight-year maturity at a 4.088% coupon. The transaction attracted over 250 orders totalling €3.4 billion. Veolia posts 10.4% net income growth in H1 2026, raises full-year guidance to 8%

Veolia Environnement reported revenue of €22.93 billion for the first half of 2026, up 1.5% at constant scope and foreign exchange, excluding energy prices. The company's EBITDA reached €3.55 billion, rising 5% with margins improving by 70 basis points to 16%. Current net income grew 10.4% at constant scope and forex, whilst net free cash flow improved by €164 million compared to the same period in 2025. The company achieved €195 million in efficiency gains during the period. Veolia completed its acquisition of Cleaners in the United States, which contributed to net financial debt of €24.5 billion. The company raised its full-year 2026 current net income growth guidance to at least 8%, citing strong operational performance and well-controlled financial charges. Veolia launches $452M non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due 2032

Veolia Environnement has launched a €400 million offering of non-dilutive cash-settled convertible bonds due January 2032. The bonds will be offered exclusively to qualified institutional investors through an accelerated bookbuilding process. The synthetic convertible bonds offer exposure to Veolia's share performance but will be cash-settled only, without issuing new shares. The bonds will bear an annual interest rate between 0.50% and 0.75%, with a conversion premium of 20% over a reference share price. Concurrently, Veolia will purchase cash-settled call options to hedge its exposure. The company intends to use proceeds for general corporate purposes, including purchasing the options. BNP Paribas and Natixis serve as joint global coordinators, with BofA Securities, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley as joint bookrunners. Veolia plans to list the bonds on Euronext Access within 30 days.

Veolia raises $791M through convertible bond offering to refinance 2021 debt

Enviri spins off New Enviri as standalone public company with $1.2B revenue after Clean Earth sale

New Enviri has launched as a standalone public company following the completion of Clean Earth's sale to Veolia Environnement.
