Requirements
  • Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production systems are compatible with defined system architectures, including the Department of Defense Architecture Framework and service-oriented architecture.
  • Contribute to systems engineering documentation, including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Assist with developing system and functional requirements and allocating them to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
  • Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination.
  • Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on development and operational considerations.
  • Have 10 years of experience.
  • Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Hold a Top Secret clearance and Counterintelligence and Lifestyle polygraphs.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Define system components and secure approval for requirements, designs, interfaces, and test procedures.
  • Create documentation that bridges hardware and software development.
Desired Qualifications
  • Have experience with circuit-switched and mobile telephony signaling types, networks, and systems, including audio encoding and decoding.
  • Have knowledge of communications protocols and associated community tools, including GSM, CDMA, 5G, and HTS.
  • Have experience with application development for IPv4 and IPv6 packet-switched networks, Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, VoIP, VPNs, and encapsulation.
  • Have experience with digital forensics tools such as Wireshark.
  • Have deep knowledge of the OSI network stack and associated protocols across Layers 2 through 7.
  • Have experience with protocol stacks for data transfer, including routing protocols, encapsulation, tunneling, encryption, and legacy protocols such as SONET.
  • Have experience with JIRA and the Atlassian Suite.
