About the job
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with patients' visitors and other facility personnel while assuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Observe patients' behavior and record observations in charts or communication logs.
- Report and follow the direction of the immediate supervisor during crisis or emergency situations.
- Participate in conducting room checks in all patient rooms as required throughout the shift and document them appropriately.
- Conduct assigned lectures and groups.
- Experience in human services or healthcare with direct patient care experience and knowledge and understanding of alcoholism and addiction.
