  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance role or Technical Engineering Degree
  • Specialization in automation and plc systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Previous experience with PLC’s (Allen Bradley and Bekhoff)
  • Professional Degree, Certificate or Apprenticeship
  • NFPA 70e Certification
  • Green or Black Belt in Six Sigma
  • Experience in food manufacturing or high-volume fulfillment operations
Responsibilities
  • Repair complex electrical high speed manufacturing equipment, including automated machines, control panels, communication systems and alarms
  • Safely repair electrical systems including up to high voltage, thermocouples, heating elements, temperature controllers, frequency drives, motor testing and photo eyes. Ability to run short conduit runs to and from a motor control panel.
  • Ability to convert problem issues to corrective actions and small project execution.
  • Able to redesign small electrical systems in a manufacturing environment in order to drive efficiency and performance improvements.
  • Be an effective communicator with production workers, managers, and fellow mechanics.
  • Be able to read and update electrical schematics.
  • Be able to design simple Electrical circuits.
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems by reading schematics.
  • Familiarity with programming in Allen Bradley or similar PLC environment.
  • HMI development experience.
  • Performs complex wiring and programming assignments to troubleshoot and/or improve performance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of GMP’s and follow all food safety guidelines
