  • American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified or Board Eligible
  • Florida Medical License or Eligible
  • Competitive applicants will have completed at least 1 year of dedicated subspecialty fellowship training in Breast Imaging
  • Prior experience in a university faculty setting preferred but not required
Responsibilities
  • Active clinical practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Participation in the advancement and education of diagnostic radiology medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Provide clinical imaging services, mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and intervention.
  • Faculty will participate in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, as well as clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conference.
  • Supervise the performance of technical personnel.
  • Be part of the on-call radiology schedule.
  • Exercise quality assurance as related to the practice of breast imaging.
  • Provide breast imaging consultation as requested.
  • Staff off-site outpatient imaging sites as requested by the Division Director or Chair.
  • Assume administrative responsibilities related to the practice of breast imaging.
  • Participate in teaching activities related to breast imaging as required in: Diagnostic Radiology and integrated Diagnostic Radiology/Interventional Radiology Residency programs, Breast Imaging Fellowship Program, Medical student education program, Radiologic technologist educational programs, Continuing Medical Education programs.
  • Potential participation in the development and management of new and ongoing clinical research.
  • Serve on Departmental and University committees as requested by the Chair.
  • Didactic teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows; participation in seminars and educational lectures; supervising medical students, residents, and fellows involved in direct patient care.
