Responsibilities:
- Act like an owner in leading design solutioning for projects of high UX and tech complexity, from conception to launch
- Deliver the product on experience goals by gathering data and qualitative user insights, and design solutions that delight users and meet business goals
- Present solutions with clarity in process, rationale via mocks and prototypes with appropriate fidelity
- Deliver specs that effectively communicate product concepts and interaction details
- Collaborate and take initiative in agile cross-functional teams with product managers, developers, and other designers
- Be a team player who is open to receiving and giving feedback and sharing knowledge with empathy so we can elevate the quality of craft and culture
- Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices in the product design industry
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in product design, with a track record of successfully leading design and shipping of products that solve people/business problems at scale
- Strong portfolio showcasing product design work that demonstrates a deep understanding of systems thinking, user-centered design principles for projects of varying complexity
- Understanding of executing on and evolving design systems, responsiveness, accessibility
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with product managers and developers to deliver products in a timely manner
- Experience leading design-led initiatives. E.g.crafting design systems, revamps, design sprints
- Bonuses: Travel industry experience, knowledge of research tools like FullStory, Mixpanel
- Ability to work in our New York City Office (115 Broadway) in a hybrid structure (~2-3 days/week in office) - This is not a remote eligible position

Spotnana strives to offer fair, industry-competitive, and equitable compensation. Our approach holistically assesses total compensation, including cash, company equity, and comprehensive benefits. Our market-based compensation approach uses data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set salary ranges that are thoughtful and consistent with our team’s role, industry, company size, and internal equity. Each employee is paid within the minimum and maximum of their position’s compensation range based on their skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related specifications.
The annual cash compensation range for this role is: $150k - $180k
