About the job
- At least 5 years of overall experience designing and developing complex, distributed, and scalable applications using middleware integration technologies.
- Two to three years of strong hands-on experience designing and implementing systems that expose RESTful application programming interfaces.
- Proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with an application programming interface management tool such as Apigee, Layer 7, Mashery, Akana, Apeona, WSO2, IBM API Management, or SAP API Gateway.
- Knowledge of common Internet technologies and protocols, including HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, OAuth, REST, JSON, and XML.
- Knowledge and understanding of various integration patterns.
- A BS, BE, ME, M.Tech, or MS degree.
- Design and develop complex, distributed, and scalable applications using middleware integration technologies.
- Design and implement systems that expose RESTful application programming interfaces.
- Test application programming interfaces using tools such as SoapUI, JMeter, or Advanced REST Clients.
