Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage all aspects of the dealership financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
  • Oversee the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP and industry standards.
  • Manage the dealership financial statements, trial balances, and other financial documents, collaborating with the accounting team as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance financial processes, utilizing technology and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead and manage the assigned accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to promote professional growth and performance excellence; oversee employee performance and address any issues or concerns; assist when necessary to fill in for staff shortages due to vacancies, leaves of absence, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, service, and operations, to ensure alignment of financial goals and accurate reporting.
