Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Three to five years of clinical practice experience or experience improving clinical quality outcomes is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, computer, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Three to five years of clinical practical experience are required.
  • Two to three years of case management, discharge planning, and/or home health care coordination experience are required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The ability to work independently, including in a remote-working arrangement, is required.
  • Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as proprietary applications, is required.
  • Efficient computer skills, including navigating multiple systems and keyboarding, are required.
Responsibilities
  • Create, implement, and maintain a vision and plan for improved clinical quality outcomes for patients in private practice settings in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Work with all practices to close care gaps and help practices, hospitals, and ancillary sites coordinate patient care plans.
  • Work alongside clinical leadership to create the forward-looking quality strategy.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert regarding the HEDIS product line.
  • Represent the Clinical Integration product in client and internal business process meetings.
  • Collaborate with affiliate service lines to impact HEDIS and Star ratings and provide seamless client service.
  • Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure clinical, quality, and medical-management operational processes and policies align with targeted quality outcomes for enrollees.
  • Link utilization management, care coordination, and quality-improvement activities with the partnered management services organization.
  • Promote education, development, and adoption of practice transformation focused on clinical workflow, member satisfaction, and improved risk-adjustment factor scoring.
  • Promote collaboration with the Director of Value-Based Care and Innovista while maintaining appropriate communication with the Chief Medical Officer and senior leadership.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for clinical operations in clinical office settings.
  • Oversee clinical training activities and their outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Training and certification in International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Revision, Clinical Modification/Procedure Coding System coding is highly desired.
