- A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing as a Physician Assistant.
- Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant program.
- Must have a current Physician Assistant license.
- Must hold Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Effectively communicate with patients and clinical staff.
- React calmly and effectively in difficult or emergent situations.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills.
- Use problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Manually take patient vitals.
- Maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
- Oversee and manage percutaneous food testing and percutaneous and intracutaneous environmental allergy testing.
- Diagnose, manage, and treat asthma within scope of practice.
- Diagnose and treat allergic disorders, including hives and eczema.
- Educate patients about the clinic’s services and treatment options.
- Inspect patients’ sinuses for structural defects using a nasal endoscope.
- Recommend further allergy and sinus treatment as needed.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative evaluation and treatment after surgeon-performed sinus procedures.
- Complete patient charting within 24 hours of each visit.
- Establish relationships with patients to support long-term treatment and relief from allergy and sinus symptoms.
- Mentor clinical staff.
- Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community.
- Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship representative to build credibility and promote the clinic.
- Adhere to standard metrics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
