Entitled, "Charting the Unknown," the DLC will let players command a ship and set sail. You can scour the coasts, search for treasure beneath the waves, and more. Charting the Unknown will cost $24.99 and launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S October 25. Grand Theft Auto VI Black and White Limited Edition DualSense Controllers announced. Pre-orders open September 10. Published: September 3, 2026 During the September 3 State of Play broadcast, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Rockstar Games revealed two new Grand Theft Auto VI DualSense Wireless Controllers. DualSense Wireless Controller - Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and DualSense Wireless Controller - Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition will be released alongside the game on November 19 for $84.99 (tax included). Pre-orders for DualSense Wireless Controller - GTA VI Black Limited Edition and DualSense Wireless Controller - GTA VI White Limited Edition will open on September 10 at 10:00 a.m. ET at direct.playstation.com in the U.S and 10:00 a.m. local time in the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. PlayStation notes that there will be limited quantities of each controller. Following its initial premiere on Netflix, Rockstar Games released its "Extended Look" video for Grand Theft Auto VI with 26 minutes of in-game PlayStation 5 footage on YouTube and the game's official website. Grand Theft Auto VI is expected to run at 30 FPS at launch, despite being marketed as playing "best on PlayStation 5" in the Extended Look video. Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and pre-orders are now live. The standard edition of Grand Theft Auto VI will cost $80, while the Ultimate Edition is $100. The physical version of Grand Theft Auto VI will not include a disc and instead, there will be a download code in a box.
New Grand Theft Auto VI edition PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers revealed. This year has remained a very energetic year for PlayStation accessories. For the DualSense specifically, there has been a nice lineup of partnered gamepads that release. In January, Rectify Gaming saw this with the announcement of the Marathon PlayStation 5 DualSense. Additionally, there was also the 007 First Light DualSense controller as well this spring. And entering into the fall, Sony Interactive Entertainment is doing the same with Marvel's Wolverine. A new DualSense controller inspired by the latest Insomniac Games title is on the way alongside a special edition PlayStation 5 console too. Recently, word on a new controller patent was also leaked online. Via patent filings, it reveals Sony is working on a new gamepad that features an entirely digital interface that can be customized to the user's liking. At the recent PlayStation State of Play presentation on Thursday, Sony Interactive Entertainment & Rockstar Games reveal a new Grand Theft Auto VI DualSense controller. Pre-orders go live on September 10th. There will be a black & white variant of the new gamepad. Here's a blurb on the update set to launch in 2026, plus a new trailer: SAROS: Zenith adds Overlord Rush, a brand new mode where you can take on the powerful Overlord enemies from the main game back-to-back, go for a high score, and compete with players around the world using integrated leaderboards in a throwback to the classic arcade-style Housemarque is known for. This update also brings ""Eclipse Layers"", a new game+ mode which allows seasoned enforcers to put their skills to the ultimate test. After clearing SAROS, players can return to the beginning and take on a more challenging version of the game. You can rise to meet these trials with even more progression options and new Carcosan Modifiers to customize your experience. Live TV arrives on PS5 with 100-plus free ad-supported channels in US. Sony turns its console into a free streaming hub for sports, films, news and more 1 hour ago September 1, 2026 CALIFORNIA: Game on, TV on. Sony Interactive Entertainment has launched Live TV on PS5 in the US, giving players access to more than 100 free, ad-supported live channels and a growing library of on-demand entertainment directly through the console. The service, offered by Sony Pictures Television, brings together programming across films, television, anime, sports, news and weather. It is available through the Media section of the PS5 and does not require players to pay a separate subscription to access the free ad-supported content. At launch, the service includes programming from major entertainment and sports providers, including Amazon MGM Studios, Crunchyroll, FOX Sports, NBCUniversal, National Football League and UFC. For film fans, the line-up includes channels such as MovieSphere by Lionsgate, 50 Cent Action, FilmRise Free Movies, Sony One Horror Hits and Cinevault, covering genres including action, horror and science fiction. The television offering includes shows such as Community, The Shield, Hell's Kitchen, The Walking Dead, Forensic Files, Unsolved Mysteries, Deal or No Deal USA and Fear Factor. Programming from A+E's HISTORY also includes Ice Road Truckers. Anime gets a sizeable spot on the platform, with titles including Naruto, Sailor Moon, Hunter x Hunter and Death Note. Crunchyroll is also contributing dedicated channels, including Black Clover and Box Sets. Sports coverage spans football, hockey, motorsports, golf, boxing, soccer and mixed martial arts, with programming from FOX Sports, NASCAR, NBC Sports Now and UFC among the offerings. News and weather channels include NBC News Now, Fox Weather and LiveNOW from FOX, giving PS5 users another way to access live information without leaving the console. The service also goes beyond conventional television. Creator-led and specialist programming includes Hot Ones, Spotify's The Ringer, Futcrunch and Idle Mode, alongside comedy, gaming, esports, action sports, documentaries and podcasts. Exclusive programming such as eCLUTCH will also feature. Players can access Live TV on PS5 by opening the Media tab on their console, selecting the Live TV on PS5 icon and signing in with their PlayStation account. Sony said the service will be regularly refreshed with new channels and programming. While the launch is currently limited to the US, the company is exploring an expansion to Canada and other regions. The move gives Sony another way to turn the PS5 from a gaming machine into an entertainment destination, putting free live television alongside the console's existing streaming and media capabilities.
