- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and people skills; ability to interact with management, team members and external vendors to achieve project goals and contribute positively to the engineering community
- Work with Industrial Design to assess product features for manufacturability and recommend capable processes, equipment, etc.
- Demonstrated ability in plastic and/or sheet metal part design
- Experience with component modules (connectors, batteries, electronics packaging, PCBAs)
- Experience with cable harness/assembly design preferred
- Experience working with overseas manufacturers
