Responsibilities
Support the design and development of substation engineering packages, including physical layouts, sections, single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and material take-offs.
Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis under the guidance of senior engineers.
Assist with electrical studies, including grounding, relay coordination, and other power system analyses using industry software.
Prepare engineering reports, calculations, technical documentation, and project deliverables.
Participate in site visits to support engineering, construction, and commissioning activities.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-quality project solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering standards and design practices.
Desired Qualifications
Previous experience in substation engineering or electrical utility projects.
Familiarity with power system analysis or electrical design software.
Previous engineering co-op or internship experience.

The Opportunity
We're looking for an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our Substation Engineering team in Burnaby, BC.
In this role, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on the design and delivery of high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects across North America. You'll gain hands-on experience in substation engineering, electrical studies, design development, and field support while building the technical foundation for your engineering career.

What We're Looking For

Salary: $60,000-$105,000
