- Experience with energy and environmental data analysis and/reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Environmental or Energy Management, Data Science, or a similar field.
- 5 years of professional experience, or a Master’s Degree and 2 years of professional experience.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced skills with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, SQL, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Lead the data collection, validation and integrity efforts for environmental data across worldwide Apple Facilities.
- Monitor Apple’s progress towards environmental goals for energy, waste, water and other metrics.
- Support data assurance and reporting processes, and provide valuable insights to environmental programs through analysis and internal communication.
- Work with the larger Global Energy & Sustainability Team as well as cross-functionally with Real Estate, Environmental Policy, EH&S, Data Center and Retail teams within Apple.
- Work with internal software experts to continuously improve the software tools Apple uses to organize and report environmental data.
- Knowledge of green house gas protocols, Carbon Disclosure Project, and other sustainability reporting standards.
- Experience leading data collection and quality assurance/quality control, working with various data sources and software tools to aggregate for environmental assurance and reporting.
- Ability to guide decision-making with data analysis and communication.
- Strong organization and documentation skills with great attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player and ability to collaborate with several teams and vendors spread across the globe.
