About the job
- Five years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing.
- Ability to perform material processing and sheet metal layout.
- Experience or capability with sheet metal, tubing, round stock, and square stock.
- Welding and MIG welding skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, perform process routing, and maintain inspection records.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of metallurgy and heat-treatment processing.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS).
- Understanding of tool and fixture design.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Highly developed technical competencies.
- Ability to adapt to new concepts and techniques.
- Create products to quality standards by applying science-based practices, professional standards, and craftsmanship.
- Uphold professional and technical communication standards throughout the organization.
- Maintain and control assigned equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Collaborate and communicate with the product development and production teams as an innovator and problem-solver.
- Ability to TIG weld.
- Certificate in Welding Technology or technical equivalent.
