- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Adherence to all environmental, health and safety requirements and the company safety policies and procedures.
- Must achieve certification to operate independently within 4 months of hire to achieve PA 2 level.
- Computer skills including PC use, email, data entry, and system navigation.
- Ability to perform unit conversions, such as linear inches to linear yards to square yards.
- Ability to use basic measurement tools such as tape measures and rulers.
- Ability to lift 60-pound shafts, maneuver 400-pound rolls, and pack or palletize cartons weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Capability to produce all products at the standard rate.
- Capability to retrieve and apply all quality information and comply with quality management system policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Commitment to completing all assigned tasks.
- Willingness to share input to improve manufacturing processes.
- Run diverse production equipment, including industrial printing and sewing machines and advanced web-converting systems.
- Adjust the process to meet quality standards.
- Perform quality checks and collect quality data as required.
- Enter production quantities and material usage into Syteline.
- Actively participate on the mat line process improvement team.
- Actively participate in lean manufacturing improvement workshops and training events.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned or directed.
