  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Completion of the minimum required continuing education credits every two years to maintain required certification and accreditation.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A certificate of completion or degree from an accredited radiography program.
  • Licensure by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and Energy and credentials in radiography and mammography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists license.
  • A current New Jersey radiologic technologist license.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
Responsibilities
  • Direct daily activities within the department.
  • Facilitate employee orientation and training.
  • Perform area-specific quality assurance and quality control procedures.
  • Perform radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept.
  • Assist physicians with radiographic procedures.
  • Operate radiographic and associated equipment.
  • Ensure maintenance of all radiographic and associated equipment.
