What believers are saying

  • Iambic filed an IPO on September 21, 2026, after $207.9 million cash.
  • Revenues reached $18 million over the twelve months ended June 30, 2026.
  • ClinicalTrials.gov shows IAM1363 recruiting 383 patients across 53 sites, including EU expansion.

What critics are saying

  • IAM1363 remains unproven; Phase 1 completion sits in 2028, delaying any approval.
  • Iambic's revenue still depends on partnerships; AbbVie and IPO proceeds fund the burn.
  • If AbbVie walks and IAM1363 fails, Iambic becomes a platform story without assets.

What makes Iambic Therapeutics unique

  • Enchant v3 spans 6,000+ molecular properties across 16 modalities, compressing discovery cycles.
  • AbbVie's September 21, 2026 collaboration validates Iambic's platform with another pharma heavyweight.
  • IAM1363 reached Phase 1 from AI design, proving platform-to-clinic execution.

Iambic prices $150M IPO at $16 per share, files IND for brain-penetrant cancer drug IAM217

Iambic Therapeutics, an AI-driven drug developer, priced its initial public offering at $16.00 per share, selling 9,375,000 shares for expected gross proceeds of $150.0 million. The underwriters have a 30-day option to buy up to 1,406,250 more shares. Shares are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on October 15, 2026, under the ticker "IAM." The offering is due to close on October 16, 2026. J.P. Morgan, Jefferies, BofA Securities, and Citigroup are joint book-running managers. Iambic also submitted an Investigational New Drug application to the US Food and Drug Administration for IAM217, a potentially brain-penetrant KIF18A inhibitor. The Phase 1/2 trial would target triple-negative breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and other solid tumours. In a preclinical model, IAM217 produced about 90% regression of established intracranial tumours.

AbbVie partners with Iambic to accelerate AI-driven drug discovery in immunology, neuroscience and oncology

AbbVie and Iambic Therapeutics have entered into a multi-year collaboration to accelerate AI-driven drug discovery in immunology, neuroscience, and oncology. The partnership will combine Iambic's molecular superintelligence platform with AbbVie's therapeutic expertise to develop small molecule therapies with first-in-class and best-in-class potential. The collaboration will utilise Enchant v3, Iambic's next-generation multimodal transformer model trained on over 6,000 molecular properties. This technology is designed to optimise candidate properties simultaneously, reducing drug discovery timelines whilst improving success rates. Under the agreement, Iambic will receive an upfront payment and is eligible for success-based milestone payments and tiered royalties on net sales from products generated through the collaboration. The partnership aims to accelerate the discovery process and deliver breakthrough medicines to patients more quickly.
