Requirements
Ability to read and have a basic understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
Provide coordination support across multiple areas while partnering with construction project management and field staff.
Assist with managing project documentation, including submittals, requests for information, and project meeting minutes.
Assist with supervising and directing project activities assigned by the Project Manager, including planning and coordinating work, resolving problem areas, and maintaining company and project policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain change order, submittal, and document control logs within Viewpoint.
Interact with subcontractors with the Project Manager and Project Executive to obtain correct documentation and drawings for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files under the direction of the Project Manager or Project Executive.
Assume temporary total project supervision responsibilities in the absence of the Project Manager.
Establish workflow breakdowns in conjunction with Field Supervisors and Project Managers.
Ensure project billings are accurate and submitted timely each month according to contract documents.
Assist with writing and submitting quality requests for information.
Assist the Project Manager in ensuring timely payment to subcontractors and vendors.
Review and update the status of construction schedules at the request of the Project Manager or Project Executive.
Assist the Project Management team with setting up project budgets in Viewpoint in conjunction with the Field Supervisor.
Work with the Payroll department to ensure accurate payroll information is submitted.
The position of Assistant Project Manager for our National Technical Systems Group is responsible for providing a high level of coordination support in a variety of areas, partnering with construction project management and field staff.
Assist with managing all aspects of project documentation including submittals, RFIs and project meeting minutes.
Assist with supervision and directing project activities as assigned by the PM including planning and coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained, etc.
Assist with the maintenance of all change order, submittal and document control logs within Viewpoint.
Assist PM and PX with interactions with subcontractors to make certain that we have obtained the correct documentation and drawing for the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.

Salary range for this position is $80,000-$140,000 annually.
Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.
