About the job

Requirements
  • Demonstrated empathy when interacting respectfully with elderly residents.
  • Attention to detail and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol qualification.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • At least 6 months of food service or front-of-house experience, along with barista skills.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver customer service to residents and visitors.
  • Prepare food and beverages, including espresso coffee.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and manage payments.
  • Keep the café tidy, welcoming, and ready for service, including setup and clean-up.
  • Support events and activities at the villages.
Desired Qualifications
  • Food Handling Certificate.
  • Hospitality and customer service experience.
  • Living within a 20-minute commute of the locations.
  • Availability from Thursday to Sunday, including nights.
