- A Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Current New Jersey Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant license.
- Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- An active New Jersey license.
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Life Support certification.
- Controlled Dangerous Substances and Drug Enforcement Administration credentials.
- Provide advanced medical care within the clinical specialty and scope of education.
- Consult with other members of the health care team to strengthen advanced medical care practice and promote positive patient outcomes.
- Provide clinical practice, staff education, patient education, and research.
- Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
