Requirements
  • 3+ years of Product Management and a total of 6+ years of professional experience, in tech startups or large corporations, ideally both, with a track record of successfully launching and growing consumer-facing apps
  • Customer centric, goal oriented, value driven, proactive problem solver
  • Technically savvy; this role requires a basic understanding of backend, frontend, and embedded software. Software engineering background is a plus
  • Great collaborator; experience in a multicultural/ multi-region environment with many stakeholders involved
  • Big advantage if you are fluent in Japanese
Responsibilities
  • Deliver the most delightful and useful mobile apps for vehicles in the world
  • Closely collaborate with Japan and American Honda members to discover user and business needs, as well as technical requirements to build the best solutions
  • Come up with strategy and help execute internationalization of the app and platform; how to support various regions’ different needs in an efficient and scalable way
  • Lead and empower the development team to execute efficiently and effectively
  • Do whatever else needed to achieve the goals
  • Occasional international travel (mainly Japan, possibly other countries)
