Requirements
  • One year of administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience as an after-school counselor.
  • At least one year of experience working in a community-based program.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate youth presentations and parent workshops.
  • Determine and secure required resources and support services for students and the community.
  • Coordinate youth groups, including tracking sign-in sheets, obtaining parent consent forms, and maintaining other documents required by program guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, school staff, department peers, and community resources.
  • Engage families to participate in events and host activities and celebrations during the program year.
  • Oversee data collection, including demographics, attendance, notes, and curriculum planning, for online submission in accordance with grant-funding guidelines.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and collaborate with peers to meet program deadlines and plan events.
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
