Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of registered investment adviser and/or hedge fund legal or compliance experience
  • Knowledge of investment advisory and commodity trading advisory services and arrangements, and related regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act, Investment Company Act, SEC and CFTC/NFA regulations
  • Attention to detail. Accurate and timely recordkeeping and organizational skills
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work well independently, with limited direct oversight, and in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in a diverse workspace

Responsibilities
  • Provide compliance support to ensure that the firm’s compliance programs are implemented, maintained and enforced in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations including the Investment Adviser Act of 1940 and the Commodity Exchange Act
  • Review pitch books, monthly reports, DDQs, RFPs and other marketing documents. Participate in investor operational due diligence
  • Conduct various day-to-day compliance surveillance activities including Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct supervision and enforcement (including personal trade review and monitoring, distribution and review of quarterly and annual Code of Ethics reporting, requesting, collecting and reviewing third party statements as necessary, maintaining restricted lists, gift and entertainment reviews, and political contribution reviews), conflicts management, electronic communications reviews, best execution reviews, broker reviews, account list maintenance, and AML/OFAC due diligence reviews, etc
  • Prepare and submit various compliance reports to the committees and the headquarters as necessary
  • Manage and administer compliance trainings
  • Assist the CCO with updating and maintaining policies and procedures as necessary including assisting in getting managerial approval of updated policies and distributing policies to staff
  • Assist with the firm’s regulatory filings (Form ADV, Form PF, CPO-PQR, CTA-PR etc.)
  • Assist with information/document requests from regulators, auditors, and compliance consultants
  • Conduct service provider due diligence
  • Keep the firm current with new rules, regulations and other compliance requirements

BGRIM and Digital Edge secure record $880M green loan for Thailand data center

B.Grimm Power and Digital Edge have secured an $880 million green loan, the largest ever for a data centre project in Thailand. The funds will develop the BKK Campus, a 100-megawatt facility in Chonburi province within the Eastern Economic Corridor. This marks the third consecutive record-breaking green loan for Digital Edge in Asia-Pacific, following deals in South Korea and Indonesia. It forms part of a $1 billion co-investment between the two companies. The facility will support enterprise-level artificial intelligence and cloud computing needs, targeting a Power Usage Effectiveness of 1.25 and LEED Silver certification. Development will proceed in two phases, with the first building opening in Q4 2026 and the second in Q2 2027. Nine financial institutions, including Bangkok Bank, HSBC Thailand and Standard Chartered Bank, arranged the financing.

TCBS raises $488M in record syndicated loan for Vietnamese securities firm

TCBS, a Vietnamese securities firm, has secured $488 million in a syndicated loan, the largest ever recorded for a securities company in Vietnam. The 2026 facility was arranged by five leading international banks, including Cathay United Bank, CTBC Bank, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, Mizuho Bank and Taipei Fubon Commercial Bank. The transaction attracted 26 institutions across China, South Korea, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Middle East, India, Malaysia and Taiwan. Several international lenders participated in an unsecured facility to a Vietnamese securities firm for the first time. In February, TCBS also signed a $50 million convertible loan with DEG, Germany's development finance institution. Recerqa raises $11M Series A for AI-powered ERP automating order processing

Recerqa, a Japanese startup providing AI-powered order processing automation, has raised ¥1.7 billion ($11.5 million) in a Series A round led by Angel Bridge, bringing total funding to over ¥2 billion. The round included participation from Genesia Ventures and New Commerce Ventures, plus debt financing from six major Japanese banks. The company's flagship product, RECERQA, uses AI agents to automate order processing tasks including estimation, ordering, inspection and invoicing. Its proprietary four-layer "Quattro" architecture handles data normalisation, business logic, decision-making and execution.
