About the company

Protect Life Michigan is a Michigan-based non-profit that seeks to reduce abortion through education, leadership training, and campus activism. It operates a three-pillar model—Expose, Equip, Deploy—to expose abortion, train student leaders in 'winsome dialogue' (through programs like the Life Advocate Intensive), and mobilize volunteers on 50+ campuses and in communities. It differentiates itself by remaining independently operated in Michigan (not affiliated with national groups) and by running a coordinated campus pipeline from training to on-campus and community activism, including initiatives like Campus Activist Model and Project Rosie. Its goal is to make abortion unthinkable and illegal in Michigan.

What believers are saying

  • June and July 2026 Life Advocate Intensives in Southfield and Grand Rapids expand recruitment.
  • Their 2025-2026 report claims 7.9 million reached and 37 percent opinion changes.
  • Updated October 2026 materials show active leadership, fresh campaigns, and ongoing campus expansion.

What critics are saying

  • Proposal 3 remains law after the 2022 defeat, blocking their core repeal thesis.
  • Michigan's abortion-rights environment and university culture shrink their donor and volunteer conversion funnel.
  • If persuading 25,000 students fails, Operation Zero becomes an expensive activism machine without policy leverage.

What makes Protect Life Michigan unique

  • Trevor Polo's 2026 leadership centers data-driven activism, Operation Zero, and campus training.
