Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, writing or associated field is preferred
  • 6 years proofreading experience
  • Experience overseeing other proofreaders/copy editors
  • Excellent & detailed proofreading and copyediting skills with a good grasp of marketing concepts and practice
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent cross functional communication skills
  • Ability to pivot quickly while maintaining attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and ready to learn
Responsibilities
  • Review and copyedit all marketing materials to check for formatting consistency, grammatical accuracy, and spelling errors
  • Work with copy team to ensure selected copy aligns with brand guidelines
  • Identify areas for improvement pertaining to proofreading process
  • Turn around proofreading assets quickly through project management software
  • Work cross-functionally to maintain guidelines documentation for various teams and content programs
