About the job
- Comply with the work schedule, labor regulations, disciplinary rules, standards of conduct, and lawful instructions issued by the direct supervisor.
- Perform the duties and assigned tasks in accordance with the performance standards applicable to the position.
- Observe general and position-specific occupational health and safety regulations and fire prevention and protection procedures, including requirements identified as mandatory by the workplace risk assessment.
- Maintain confidentiality of the company's operations, activities, and work throughout employment and do not disclose company information to third parties.
- Maintain confidentiality of salary and compensation information throughout employment.
- Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and cutlery.
- Operate the dishwasher in accordance with operating instructions.
- After cleaning pots and pans, place them in their designated storage area.
- Wash dirty dishes and maintain an adequate supply of clean tableware for the Head Chef.
- Polish cutlery and, when required, collect dirty dishes from the employee cafeteria.
- Assist kitchen staff in maintaining kitchen cleanliness while following company cleaning policies and procedures.
- Clean and polish the entire kitchen area.
- Disinfect kitchen floors at the end of each working day.
- Remove waste whenever necessary.
- Clear the kitchen area of empty boxes and unnecessary equipment.
- Demonstrate integrity, responsibility, teamwork, mutual respect, and professional cooperation.
- Maintain professional and respectful behavior and communication with colleagues and supervisors, and refrain from statements that could damage the company's reputation or that of its representatives.
