Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 5 years of contract-related experience.
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, plus general knowledge of pre-award and post-award federal government contracting practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Experience with cost-plus, fixed-price, and time-and-materials contract types.
  • An active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance is required; a U.S. clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
  • Candidates must satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest assessment process.
  • Candidates must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person.
  • Applicants must be willing to apply for and maintain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Interface with customers and business partners while conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration across a portfolio of programs.
  • Examine proposal requirements and analyze terms and conditions to evaluate risk.
  • Review Bases of Estimates for accuracy and completeness to support contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Process contractual documentation and reports, advise management of contractual rights and obligations, compile and analyze data, and maintain historical information.
  • Facilitate shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries and interface with the Defense Contract Management Agency as required.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports and maintain assigned contracts.
  • Prepare proprietary information agreements, associate contractor agreements, export licenses and agreements, and various memoranda as needed.
  • Understand and interpret Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines for specific contract types and manage contractual flow-down requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex contracts administration tasks and support development of competitive proposals.
  • Ability to develop solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity and work under minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with commercial partners in the defense industry.
  • Experience working with the government as a prime contractor, preferably for the Department of Defense.
  • Experience working with Other Transaction Agreements.
  • Experience with CostPoint.

Boeing shares down 21% from peak as 737 Max wing production delays slow turnaround

Boeing completes 13-satellite O3b mPOWER constellation with $715B order backlog

Boeing has completed its 13-satellite O3b mPOWER constellation for operator SES, following the launch of the final three satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The satellites joined 10 already in orbit. The constellation will support high-speed global connectivity for governments, cruise lines, commercial airlines and mobile users. Boeing's software-defined architecture developed for this programme is also being adapted for US Space Force's Evolved Strategic SATCOM systems and Wideband Global SATCOM. The satellites must complete orbit raising and initialisation before entering service in mid-2027. Boeing reported a total backlog of $715 billion at the end of the second quarter, with $85 billion in its Defence, Space & Security segment. Hedge fund ownership in Boeing declined from 99 funds to 90 funds between consecutive quarters, according to 13F filings.
